A mixture of hand extracted coconut nectar and shredded young coconut mixed together, then heated over a low flame until it caramellises into a sticky substance. This substance is then coated in a shell made of white wheat flour, shaped similarly to a seashell.
The shell along with the mixture inside it are then baked in the oven until the shell becomes golden. Signifying the perfect crunch.
This is a wonderful dessert, and a purely maldivian made one at that. You will never experience a similar lavor anywhere else.
